Unusual Injury Sidelines Alexa Bliss from WWE Action

Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss challenged ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair for her women’s title at the Extreme Rules PPV. However, Bliss suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of Charlotte Flair.

Since losing her title match at Extreme Rules, Bliss missed this week’s episode of WWE’s Monday Night Raw and it is reported that she has to undergo surgery.

Right after the PPV last Sunday, WWE announced that the ‘Twisted Goddess’ would be a brief hiatus from pro-wrestling; however, there was no reason revealed for the same.

Alexa Bliss has a surgery scheduled

As per PWInsider, Alexa Bliss will be out of action because she has to attend sinus surgery. However, PWInsider did not confirm the timeline when she could come back.

Looks like Bliss might go for a long time before she makes her inevitable comeback inside the squared circle. However, WWE’s creative team has got plenty of time on their plate to recreate Bliss’ character.

After her kayfabe meltdown at Extreme Rules after Charlotte destroyed her doll called, Lilly, it looks like the WWE have pushed a button on Bliss’ new character.

With Bray Wyatt gone, this seems like the perfect time to bring back the old gimmick of Alexa Bliss and directly put in the title picture. But given the fickle nature of WWE, maybe we’ll see something more bizarre for Alexa Bliss.
