The most important element in pro wrestling is maintaining character. It’s like reality TV without the retakes, so pro-wrestlers have to be in perfect harmony with their characters at all times. Two WWE Legends who mastered this art are Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Undertaker.

However, all of this is in front of the camera and in front of the fans. They’re allowed to break character and be themselves backstage. Essentially, there’s an entire personality of WWE Superstars that fans have no clue about. But, the Superstars themselves do.

Hence, before WrestleMania 38, The Texas Rattlesnake and The Deadman broke character and shared a moment of friendship. This was captured on camera, and shared on social media. The photograph caught the moment the two men having a conversation as Mark Calaway and Steven James Anderson.

The only reason fans get to see these glimpses is because of social media. Before social media, fans rarely knew who the man behind the mask actually was!

The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin played major roles during WrestleMania 38 week

Speaking of The Deadman, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon as Class of 2022 on April 1st, 2022.

His speech moved everyone, and it was a moment of bliss for fans to watch The Deadman becoming emotional. Such is the irony of the WWE Hall of Fame! Following that The Undertaker made his appearance at WrestleMania 2022 as the Class of 2022 headliner!

On the other hand, The Texas Rattlesnake came out of retirement to face Kevin Owens in an impromptu match. He whooped KO on Night 1, but that lit a fire in him to open more cans of whooping a**.

As a result, he arrived at the ring on Night 2 and executed stunners on Pat McAfee, Austin Theory, and Vince McMahon. Shockingly, The Big Man also returned to in-ring wrestling at WrestleMania 38!
