We are just a few hours away from a blockbuster Backlash 2024 emanating from the LDLC arena in France. To set the tone right, the go-home SmackDown episode hit the room via a delayed tape, entertaining us with a lot of intriguing events. Amidst all the matches and segments, Randy Orton’s new talk show has been one of the major linchpins, leading to his brawl with Tama Tonga and an abrupt attack on the ringside security force. To add to that, the disguised identity of the ambushed security personnel triggered nostalgia among fans.

The man behind the ringside guard attire was none other than the forgotten NXT champion Sylvester Lefort, whom fans couldn’t get enough of.

A stacked episode of The Blue Brand took us to the momentous debut of the RKO Show, with Randy Orton and Kevin Owens sitting for it. The imminent tag team partners entered the stage to a loud pop and eventually revealed the Bloodlines’ Undisputed Wise Man Paul Heyman as their guest for tonight. After the Hall of Famer interrupted without being introduced, the segment transitioned into a darker theme. Owens’ repeated digs at Heyman led Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga to come out. Even before the match taps in, the two opponents, Orton and Tonga, invited a scuffle outside the ring. When security rushed out to desist them, one of them had to bear The Viper’s wrath. Orton ended up slamming him hard on the commentary table.
