One thing that has surprised the entire WWE Universe is the quality of Brock Lesnar in his recent iteration. Ever since returning with the cowboy attire, Lesnar has been unstoppable when it comes to entertaining the audience. Whether happy-go-lucky or his vicious self, Lesnar fulfills every role with an oomph of confidence, which he lacked previously.

Known for taking hiatuses, many fans thought he would take a long break before returning a few months later. But even after his big SummerSlam match with Cody Rhodes, Lesnar seems to be sticking to WWE for a little longer.

In a report from Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Lesnar could play a part in WWE’s next big PLE event, Fastlane. He also mentioned that The Beast Incarnate is going to take a break, but isn’t going to stray away from the squared circle for long. Fastlane takes place on October 7th, so Lesnar will have plenty of time to recover before his next match.

In the media scrum following SummerSlam, Triple H also named Lesnar as the greatest combat athlete of all time. This gave many fans hope that the fruitful partnership between Hunter and Lesnar won’t come to an end.

In contrast to that path, Lesnar could also reignite a rivalry that never had a definitive ending at this year’s Elimination Chamber. We are obviously talking about Bobby Lashley. With Lashley’s new alliance with The Street Profits, we could even get Lesnar wrestling on TV against Montez Ford or Angelo Dawkins. But at the end of the day, it is Lesnar’s decision and Hunter’s booking that will govern his next match.
