However, previously Johnson had also received heat and criticism from fans, for centering the film around himself, and even calling the DCEU the ‘Black Adam Universe’. Although those are long gone, now the fans are pouring in for Johnson’s promotions and premieres.
Dwayne Johnson’s New York City premiere witnessed huge crowds of people. The crowd came to witness the Black Adam in real life. However, at one point in the event, Johnson brought back and channeled his inner, The Rock. Seth Philips, aka dude with the sign, the iconic meme of the person holding a cardboard sign, was also present. He even took a photo with Johnson, with a reference to the iconic meme.
