This episode of WWE Monday Night RAW showed the aftermath of Clash at the Castle. Live from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, the show was packed. The qualifying matches for Money in the Bank were set to start. Uncle Howdy was set to return and debut his new Wyatt 6 family. Drew McIntyre was ready to address his loss at the PLE. Damian Priest was ready to find his next opponent and much more. Here are the results for WWE RAW.

WWE RAW 17/08/2024 Results

In-ring segment: Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins made his return since his leave of absence after WrestleMania XL. Rollins lost his WWE World Heavyweight title at Mania XL to Drew McIntyre, and it was stolen by Damian Priest. He claimed that he was back for the title, looking at the Money in the Bank. However, the party was interrupted by Priest. The two had a bit of back and forth before Priest claimed he wanted to face Rollins at the Money in the Bank PLE for the title.

Backstage segment: Chad Gable, accompanied by Alpha Academy, asked Adam Pearce for a rematch for the Intercontinental title. However, Pearce was not issuing one without Gable earning it. He claimed he would face anyone worthy, and Pearce had someone in mind.

Chad Gable vs. Braun Strowman

Winner: Braun Strowman

The match started out with Gable trying to suplex Strowman, which didn’t work in his favor. During the match, Strowman kept asking Alpha Academy why they tolerated a bully like Gable. While the Olympian did get an armbar on the big man, a single slap knocked him off the top rope. Despite using his team as a shield and going for Strowman’s legs, a single bodyslam and Strowman was the winner.

Post-match: Gable lost his temper with Alpha Academy, and Otis finally attacked Gable and took the team away.

Backstage segment: The Judgment Day was seen backstage with Priest confronting Finn Balor about taking Liv Morgan’s hotel keycard. He claimed he did it for Dominik Mysterio and that it was taken care of. He continued about the Money in the Bank qualifying match and whether Balor would use the case against him. Balor claimed he wanted to use it on Cody Rhodes.

Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Iyo Sky vs. Zelina Vega vs. Kiana James

Winner: Iyo Sky qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match

The match was fast-paced, with each woman showing off their insane in-ring skills. While Sky took to the sky, Vega showed off her speed, and James displayed her strength. While Vega had the upper hand, Liv Morgan came out and distracted her. This led to James taking the opportunity to knock her out while Sky pinned James and qualified.

In-ring segment: Sami Zayn addressed the crowd after his victory at Clash at the Castle. While he talked about Gable and the Alpha Academy, Bron Breakker came out. While Breakker claimed his eyes were on the title, Sheamus came out. The Celtic warrior claimed that he had been after the title for five years. Breakker was not happy and considered it an insult. Zayn claimed that he would schedule a match between Breakker and Sheamus for later that night.

Backstage segment: Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn were interviewed backstage after winning the tag team titles. However, Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler arrived to issue a warning to them.

Carlito vs. Dragon Lee

Winner: Carlito

The match started out with both men testing each other. While Lee was able to get the upper hand, Carlito was able to make some space. In the middle of the match, Morgan came out to everyone’s surprise. Dominik asked where she got his vest from, but Vega attacked her. All hell broke loose and JD McDonagh took advantage to make Lee slip on the top rope. This allowed Carlito to pick up the win.

Backstage segment: Gable was seen talking to the Alpha Academy who were leaving the venue.

In-ring segment: Drew McIntyre came out to the ring to claim he quit and couldn’t take Punk’s interference anymore. As he walked away, Pearce tried to talk to him.

Backstage segment: Pearce and Triple H were seen talking to McIntyre, who didn’t want to listen.

Kayden Carter and Katana Chance vs. Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane

Winners: Kayden Carter and Katana Chance

The match started out with Kai and Sane in control. The tag team chemistry in Damage CTRL ensured Chance and Carter didn’t have an opportunity to get the upper hand. However, Lyra Valkyria came out to distract Kai while allowing Chance and Carter to win the match.

Backstage segment: Iyo Sky confronted Kai and Sane, claiming that Damage CTRL had to change or she would do it herself.

Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus

Winner: Ended in disqualification due to Ludwig Kaiser

This match wasn’t like most Breakker matches. Sheamus could keep up with the latest young star and match his strength. The match turned into a slugfest, with both men throwing everything at each other. While Breakker tried his usual moves, nothing seemed to keep Sheamus down. However, as Sheamus was ready for the win, Kaiser came out, causing the match to end. As Kaiser continued his attack, Breakker hit Sheamus with a Spear. As Breakker was removed from ringside, Kaiser set Sheamus up for an attack, only to eat another Spear.

Backstage segment: Dom Dom searched for his vest, only to find Morgan. As he tried retrieving his piece of clothing, Priest appeared. Priest told Morgan that Dom wanted nothing to do with her; she claimed otherwise.

Backstage segment: Karrion Kross sent a message for a match to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. The New Day members replied with their promo, accepting his match.

Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match: Jey Uso vs. Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio

Winner: Jey Uso

The match started with Balor getting out, leaving Uso and Mysterio to take on each other. Seeing his opportunity, Balor reentered the match but could not hold off Uso and Mysterio. Balor was able to escape the 619 and take out Uso as well. Despite Judgment Day coming out, Strowman scared them off. A Frog Splash and Jey Uso won and qualified.

Post-match: As Uso celebrated his win, the lights went out and Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt 6 were revealed. The backstage crew was laid out, including Chad Gable. Coming out, Howdy claimed, “We’re here,” to end the show.
