After the brutal attack on the backstage crew on Monday Night RAW, SmackDown had extra security. This was to ensure what took place on RAW didn’t happen on SmackDown. Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks are on the warpath; clearly, no one is safe. However, despite the extra security, fans spotted the Wyatt Sicks’ presence in SmackDown. Some of them even deciphered their next potential target by evaluating an innocuous segment of the Blue brand.

Before Friday Night SmackDown aired, the wrestling faithful feared the worst for a prominent WWE personality. After the ending segment of WWE RAW, fears grew over the fact that the Pat McAfee show’s participants suffered a similar fate. During the ending part of the podcast, the power went off, accompanied by a spooky sound effect. The sound effect was eerily similar to that of the Wyatt Sicks’ cue. Hours later, McAfee came out on social media to claim their drone had caused it.

However, a video then came to light with the ending segment followed by the words, “You lied.” Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks had something to do with it. McAfee is a part of the RAW announce team, with Michael Cole. The former NFL star’s fate doesn’t bode well, especially after the Wyatt Sicks called him out in public. With their next outing potentially coming on Raw, they might look to ensure that McAfee suffers the consequences for his allegedly misleading words. The Raw commentator will be hoping that he can avoid the wrath of the group. Especially since eagle-eyed observers spotted a clue that highlighted a different target than that of Pat McAfee.

During the backstage segment, as Cody Rhodes was walking back after aiding CM Punk in fending off The Bloodline, the Wyatt Sick symbol was seen on one door. Despite security being posted outside it, the symbol was visible, meaning the Wyatts and Howdy had already infiltrated the arena.

While it was unclear what room or whose locker room it was, many fans theorized that Rhodes could be their next target. Many fans even claimed that Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks might help The American Nightmare in his match against Solo Sikoa. Unfortunately, nothing pointing in that direction occurred on SmackDown as the dreaded faction chose to spare the blue brand of their ire.

Nothing happened despite the symbol showing up and the fans erupting in giddy excitement. They were sure that Howdy and the Sicks might interact with Cody Rhodes. The show ended with Rhodes vs. Sikoa, where Jacob Fatu’s debut came to fruition. While fans believed the show might cross the given time limit, the match ended moments after it started.

The Samoan Werewolf attacked and cleared the house. He laid out Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. He even performed an impressive frog splash on Rhodes through the announce table. The moment was incredible, but fans were upset as the show closed with an incident. Fans will only know what happened after the Wyatts attacked on RAW in the upcoming episode. What did you think?
