Uncle Howdy has been the center of attraction for the WWE Universe for the past few months. After a lot of mind games, Triple H introduced the eerie Wyatt 6 to the world in a spectacular Raw episode on June 17th. Howdy and his troops put the entire roster on notice, resulting in a promised massacre backstage on the debut night. Even before we could get the trauma out of our minds, Howdy returned to TV the next weeks with a series of cryptic VHS tapes by which each of the members exposed their inner psyche, adding an extra layer of spookiness to the saga.

Last week on Raw, Howdy flaunted a brand new look. The absence of the trademark top hat and leather jacket that Howdy usually dons caught the eyeballs. Later, it turned out that the enigmatic entity had a complete makeover regarding his old in-ring gear. While we primarily understood that the new ones resemble his late brother a lot, there were many minute details to watch out for. To specify those, the jacket had a zipper and 3D buttons; the pants bore some design, and the three belts had multiple strings attached. The most visible change was in the mask, nonetheless. It seemed more ordinary and less viscious than the last.

The new look gear, however, makes a lot of sense, given Uncle Howdy’s allegiance with Wyatt. Although the first official match of Howdy is yet to be sealed, it seems to be a strife against Chad Gable.

Uncle Howdy could impart a lesson to Chad Gable at SummerSlam 2024

Uncle Howdy hasn’t failed to stun the world with his presence since his comeback in June. Bo Dallas and Howdy’s split persona reveal on Raw a few weeks back has added another layer to this developing story. However, their choice of victim has emerged as the most pressing topic. During the previous edition of Raw, a brawl sprung up between the oppressive Alpha Academy leader Chad Gable alongside his new pupils, Creed Brothers, and the rest of the Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine). After the beat down ended with Gable getting the upper hand, the arena went dark. Uncle Howdy emerged from behind and laid out Gable once again with Wyatt’s signature finisher, Sister Abigail. However, the feud is still not over.
