The ongoing story about QR codes and mysterious images seen on WWE programs has surely captured the attention of fans, sparking speculation day after day. And because of these, Uncle Howdy seems to be the WWE-related character that fans can’t wait to see again after months. That is mostly owing to the fact that Bray Wyatt left the scene due to an illness that then led to his premature death.

But this time it seems that he will not be alone. But accompanied by a family of particular characters. This has been hinted at by the latest QR Code that appeared in the last episode of Friday Night SmackDown happened in Saudi Arabia before King & Queen of the Ring. But when will he return? Well, a renowned insider has provided an update on that front.

In the latest edition of the Fightful Wrestling podcast, pro wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp provided an update as to when the much-awaited sinister character could make his return to the WWE. According to Sapp, it might take a few weeks as the WWE is trying to establish every supernatural element related to the character. He said, “Listen, I think they were closing in on it. I think it’ll happen within the next few weeks. But I don’t mind it at all. Like, if you watch that documentary about Bray Wyatt, you saw that they understood some of the limitations that were put onto Bray Wyatt in the previous situation were that it was hard to bring reality to a lot of what he was doing. It was hard to execute it in the ring after he does all these wild things. You set up all these things, like how do you make it work in the ring. I think they will be more grounded with that.”

After another QR code appeared on the King and Queen of the Ring this Saturday, moments before the match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, a new code appeared in the video game WWE 2K24. This new QR code takes us to this website, and a video called “Remember.” In the video, fans could witness several enigmatic images. This led many fans to speculate that Monday’s RAW might see the arrival of Uncle Howdy. However, as we all know now, that did not happen. Maybe the WWE is waiting to establish his teammates, since we already know who they will be.

The Howdy 6 and their characteristics

According to a recent clue by Uncle Howdy, we can see the new stablemates of Uncle Howdy through a note and the nicknames given to them. The note reads ‘hex.i’, which specifically uses feminine pronouns. It says that “she looks into the abyss.” This is apparently a reference to Nikki Cross, who often remains obsessed with watching something or someone, as per the character that she once had in NXT. Another note is listed as ‘truncheon.ii’ and seems to point directly to Erick Rowan. With the caveat that he “already knows the way”. And who better than him, who had already been part of the Wyatt family several years earlier?

Then we have ‘prey.iii’ which seems to be connected to Joe Gacy. With the hint that he was ‘a loyal man unlike his family’, and this ties in very well since Dyad left WWE and Ava Raine became a GM. Thus disbanding Schism. The last note reads’spark.iv’ and is reportedly linked to Dexter Lumis, who was dropped from the main roster, by the way, for no reason, after a brief reunion with Johnny Gargano when the wrestler returned, signing a new deal with WWE after a few months off dedicated to his son.
