In recent months, the WWE has witnessed several QR make their way to the WWE’s television programming. And not just that, WWE’s social media, such as their official WhatsApp channel and their Twitch account, have been hacked by the sinister character named Uncle Howdy. On Saturday, there was one more incident. But this time it was on the front page of the Stamford-based promotion’s official website!

One could find a message from the mysterious character who threatens that a massacre is yet to come. And if we read the URL of the website backward, one can see how a date appears. Specifically June 17. And now another QR appeared on tonight’s RAW hinting at the much-awaited return. So maybe we will finally get to see Uncle Howdy appear on the said date. But who will he feud with? The WWE has yet to set up an opponent for the sinister character. So could it be?

The Wyatt Family was truly one of the best factions in the WWE. As it skyrocketed, the careers of the superstars who were a part of it did too. Luke Harper, Bray Wyatt, and Braun Strowman became mega stars before the untimely deaths of the former two. However, Strowman is still striving in the WWE, and according to Sean Ross Sapp on the Fightful Wrestling Podcast, Uncle Howdy may go against the former Wyatt family member. He said, “As far as the first feuds, I can see Braun being one of the first feuds because of his connection to them.”

This comes as a shock to many people, considering the rumors suggested that Howdy would target Jey Uso due to his ‘fireflies’ remark. “Yall ain’t got no damn choice. Fireflies are mines now. #YeeterOfWorlds -jey,” he tweeted last month.

Or it could have been the LA Knight, as he was Wyatt’s last opponent. Nevertheless, Howdy targeting The Monster Among Men is not beyond the realm of possibility considering their storied history with Bray Wyatt. It also coincides with Strowman’s personal desire to uphold the legacy of Wyatt, as he mentioned during his time out on the sidelines.

During his break from wrestling due to an injury, Strowman talked about what he expects and what his goals are for his return. The former WWE champion assured that he wants to keep the legacy of the group alive. It was during his period of inactivity that Strowman had to face the death of his friend Wyatt. So feuding with Uncle Howdy to kick-start the Wyatt-verse is surely the go-to move for the monster among men. But this surely will be an uphill task, as it is still unknown if the fans will accept the new Wyatt family storyline.

Moreover, Braun Strowman has focused all his attention on The Judgment Day and Carlito since his return at the WWE Draft. Howdy attacking the former Wyatt family member without him attaining closure in his feud with The Judgment Day could prove detrimental to both their characters. Nevertheless, it all depends on how WWE introduces Uncle Howdy back to the fold and how they play out the story should they choose to target Strowman.

While excitement around the sinister character of Uncle Howdy is palpable, one must not forget that it was Bray Wyatt’s amazing mic skills that attracted the crowd. That is something that even Strowman talked about.

In a 2023 interview, Braun Strowman spoke about the deceased star and claimed that he was the best with a microphone in his hand. The Raw star praised Wyatt’s remarkable ability to play multiple characters with ease, calling him the greatest of all time in that regard.

He said, “Bray Wyatt was, in my opinion, the epitome of talking on a microphone with his character work, being able to go in and out of all these multiple characters, see his facial expressions change, hear his voice change.”

“I don’t know anyone who’s done it other than Paul Heyman, who’s just been timeless with what he does as a manager and stuff like that. But he still doesn’t have the range and abilities to go through these multiple different characters that Bray had inside of his head. So in my opinion, it’s Bray Wyatt.”
