For weeks, WWE has teased the continuation of the Bray Wyatt universe with the return of Uncle Howdy. And they surely hyped it up by releasing several QR codes every week during live programming, as the codes contained clues pointing toward the much-awaited return. And tonight, on Monday Night Raw, the sinister uncle did come back.
After the main event tonight on the red brand, the lights went out and Bray Wyatt’s entrance theme began to play. The cameras focused on a door on the stage that opened, referencing Wyatt’s return at Extreme Rules 2022. Nikki Cross appeared with terrifying makeup and outfits. After this, the cameras went to ‘Gorilla Position’, and more members of the faction were revealed until they reached Uncle Howdy, making up a total of five people who make up this group.
When the cameras were on ‘Gorilla Position’, it showed how all the wrestlers had taken a beating, and many of them were bleeding ostensibly, including one of RAW’s most prominent wrestlers, Chad Gable. Finally, the five members met on stage, and Uncle Howdy took the lamp left by Bray Wyatt to end the show with the following words: “We are here.” But did you notice another tribute Uncle Howdy paid to the late Bray Wyatt? Well, it’s all in the hands.

When Uncle Howdy made his return, some were quick to notice that there was something written on his hand as he picked up the lamp. And upon further notice, it was realized that “Bray” was written on the fingers of the sinister being. Bo Dallas, the man behind the mask of Uncle Howdy, is the real-life brother of the late superstar. So it wasn’t shocking to see him pay tribute to the man whose legacy he would be continuing in the WWE Universe.

Bo Dallas’ alter-ego featured a refreshed look with Dreadlocks, with a clear reference to his brother Bray Wyatt, as he was joined by his Wyatt Sicks in his return. Erick Rowan plays Rambling Rabbit, Dexter Lumis plays Mercy the Buzzard, Joe Gacy plays Huskus, the role of Huskus The Pig, and Nikki Cross changes her gimmick to Abby the Witch. So now it would be interesting to see how the faction manages to bring forth the ‘Massacre’ they warned about.
However, they did take their first step, as they seemingly ‘killed’ Chad Gable. But still, more major strides are to be made to establish the group for their first PLE, The Money in the Bank. WWE’s next big premium live event will be held at the Scotiabank Arena in the city of Toronto, Canada, on the night between Saturday, July 6, and Sunday, July 7. So, what do you think? How would the WWE book the faction? Let us know in the comments.
