Uncle Howdy’s storyline has showcased a startling resemblance to his late brother Bray Wyatt since his inception in the lore. While it was not unforeseen as Triple H essentially relaunched the Howdy trajectory to keep the Wyatt essence alive on the TV, the similarities started to fascinate fans’ brains to the point of evolving new theories. Bo Dallas’ Uncle Howdy character first took its shape in the division back in 2022. However, before the enigmatic alter ego had much to bring to the table, Wyatt’s life expectancy came to an abrupt end, leading him to break off temporarily.
However, on the June 17th episode of Raw, the sinister member of the Wyatt family reappeared in the ring alongside his infamous troops. In recent weeks, as the characters unveiled their motive straightway through the VHS tapes, deepening their impact, a keen-eyed fan noticed a startling minute detail of overlapping between the Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy pitch.

Nikki Cross, who’s currently bearing the role of Firefly Funhouse puppet Abby the Witch, has made it a ritual every Monday night to deliver a VHS tape to the general manager. While the previous tapes made the fans see in detail the nitty-gritty of Eric Rowan and Uncle Howdy, the latest one holds the story of Cross herself. A woman in the snow-white dress took over the footage with Uncle Howdy saying, “Look at yourself. They lied. They ignored you. Watched you suffer in solitudes. I have been the answer all along.”
Shortly after, the viewers saw a few clips of Sister Abigail dancing with Uncle Howdy and Mercy the Buzzard. Diving deeper into the significance, one fan on X noted that they believe Nikki Cross danced with Mercy the Buzzard to connect the dots between Bray Wyatt’s dancing with his opponents before taking them out with Sister Abigail. They largely represent a brother-sister bond rather than a couple.

Whether this theory makes sense in the long run is yet to be seen, but it does sound intriguing. Moving ahead, Uncle Howdy/Bo Dallas recently cropped up in a whole new avatar on Raw ahead of SummerSlam.
Bo Dallas showcased some extra Bray Wyatt resemblance on Raw last week
Last week on the red brand, Chad Gable once again garnered Howdy’s wrath by inflicting a war with his Alpha Academy members alongside the Creed Brothers. After Gable & Co. picked up the win and marched down to confront Otis, Xavier Woods and Akira Tozawa, Wyatt 6 and Uncle Howdy loomed large. After lurking for a few seconds, Uncle Howdy ambushed Gable, while the rest of the Wyatt 6 saved Otis from a chair attack.

The segment ended prematurely, leaving space for the drama to flair up further at SummerSlam. But the thing that caught fans’ attention the most was Bo Dallas’ changed gear; a leather waistcoat and triple leather belts with multiple strings, designed pants, and the more ordinary worn-out mask, seemingly flaunting more of his Bray Wyatt connection.
It will be interesting to see how the storyline unveils forward, heading to SummerSlam. What’s your take on the fan-based theory about the latest VHS tape theme? Let us know in the comments below.
