There are not many superstars in the wrestling industry who could go toe to toe with Brock Lesnar, the legend himself. Beating him is another thing, but being able to trade fists with the former UFC Champion is an honor in and of itself.
But Braun Strowman, the former Universal Champion who beat Goldberg as well, was a regular who took Lesnar’s blows at face value.
Their brawls were epic and WWE relied on them quite a lot when things were tough. Now, after about 5 or 6 years, Strowman is revealing more details about his epic feud with the Beast and working with him.

Former Universal Champion recalls his battle with Brock Lesnar
When talking in the reel with BT Sport, Braun Strowman talked about his clash with Lesnar. He said, “Shit got real. I mean, at the end of the day, you know, it’s two scary guys, two dominant males, not wanting to give an inch to either one and you know, we took it from each other. You know, things happen. We’re not playing, we’re not ballet, we’re not badminton, we’re physical. He’s 300lbs of just an unadulterated, animalistic beast and I’m a 385lbs monster.”
“Things happen at the end of the day. We made one hell of a segment. That’s what really happened! I pat myself on the back. I think I’m the only person in history to take that overhand right from Brock and not get knocked out. Anytime you get in the ring with the Beast, mix it up, the bigger the challenge, the better. If you’re not wrestling the best, then who would you beat?”
Braun Strowman has previously commented about the brutality of his matches with Lesnar. While talking to TalkSport in an interview, Strowman explained an altercation between the two in the ring. Being such big superstars, the two clash a lot with each other in the ring.
