Is Roman Reigns' Bloodline storyline the best thing in WWE right now? What do you think?

Roman Reigns almost claimed Ula Fala in the latest SmackDown episode. If it weren’t for the interruption at the hands of Jacob Fatu, the Original Tribal Chief would have restored everything in place. However, due to being outnumbered, the situation got out of hand. But the segment didn’t end before giving us an important detail to discuss.

For the past two weeks, Tama Tonga has been having a strange attraction towards the Ula Fala. The garland that is the mark of the Anoa’i chief is made out of dried pandanus fruit and painted red to signify the color of royalty. Since only the head of the table is allowed to wear it, Tonga also seems to be moved by the power.

Although he joined and serves as the MFT for Solo Sikoa, there seems to be a change of heart in Tama Tonga, and it doesn’t look good. The new Tribal Chief had betrayed Roman Reigns following his hiatus. Now, the tables appear to be turning the same way on Sikoa.

On Friday Night SmackDown 08/16, Roman Reigns was able to get rid of Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa for a brief moment and was alone in the squared circle with the Ula Fala. He put it on but was soon ambushed by Jacob Fatu. When Fatu took him outside and smashed him through the announce table, Tonga went back in to pick up the garland. He gave it a greedy stare, and the camera work made it obvious that the Tongan was eyeing it for himself.

This united the fans on social media to discuss the possibility of what the spot might mean. Since fans have already been speculating about how Tama Tonga might turn on Solo, they show up with a similar conclusion.

Is Roman Reigns’ Ula Fala worth all the trouble?

Have an interesting take?

The short answer to this is yes. Anyone who wishes to control The Bloodline won’t be able to do so without the red garland. The road to getting it is not easy, though, and even if you do have it, anyone might challenge you for it. This is where a fan drew the line and claimed that the Original Tribal Chief was very well able to keep everyone in line, whereas Solo Sikoa couldn’t do this, resulting in that Tama Tonga detail.

Somebody used the Lion King reference to explain how the situation on the blue brand is kind of similar right now. Even if the former Enforcer of The Bloodline isn’t the rightful heir to the throne, the other ‘hyenas’ would still like to abuse the power that it holds.

There have been so many Polynesians in the Bloodline storyline that fans are now believing Ula Fala may be getting a Royal Rumble match soon. With how things are building up and the reports of Hikuleo getting signed by the Stamford-based company, this might be the plan WWE has in mind.

This way, the only thing that will get antagonized is the ceremonial garland, not the wrestlers. However, somebody would always want to assume possession of the Ula Fala. So, perhaps a rumble match may be underway for all the talents who are drunk with its power.

This is a good theory for why Roman Reigns has suddenly turned into a tolerable person on the roster and not the same self-conscious personality that he was just a few months ago. Maybe the wrestler won’t keep the Ula Fala with him after winning.
