Sean O’Malley Baffles WWE Commentator and Former NFL Punter with His Striking at UFC 269

Sean O’Malley is making everyone talk about him recently. And now, after his performance at UFC 269, he is certainly getting some more limelight. Well, it looks like Sean is ready to face higher-ranked oppositions. O’Malley is currently competing in the bantamweight division and will certainly look to challenge the UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling in the future.

Will O’Malley be able to become the UFC Bantamweight Champion? Only time will tell us. With his current form, Sean O’Malley is grabbing the attention of many people, including the WWE commentator, Pat McAfee. Soon after the fight got over, McAfee took to Twitter to praise Sean O’Malley by calling him “Knockaht… ARTIST”. It is secret to none that how impressed Pat McAfee is with Sean O’Malley. And after this fight at the UFC 269 event, he will be impressed even more.

Raulian Paiva via TKO in less than one round to open the UFC 269 main card. This is not the first time that Sean had won via KO/TKO. He had won 11 of his 16 mixed martial arts matches by Knockout. Thus, it will not be totally wrong if we call O’Malley the knockout artist.

Even in his last fight against Kris Moutinho, he won the fight via TKO in Round 3 at the UFC 264 event. It will be interesting to see if O’Malley can maintain his impressive record in the future when he faces higher-ranked opponents. But things are certainly looking bright for O’Malley.

Pat McAfee once passed an insensitive comment on Nia Jax

During last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, a video package of Shayna Baszler injuring Nia Jax and Eva Marie was shown prior to Shayna’s match. After the video ended, the former NFL punter passed a controversial comment about Eva Marie and Nia Jax, referring to their WWE releases.

It was very insensitive of him to pass such a comment considering how the release affected the former WWE superstars. He received backlash from the fans soon after the incident. Also, Nia Jax reacted to it by not acknowledging her WWE in-ring name.

That reaction from Nia hinted at the fact that she is not interested in keeping any contact with WWE after getting released by the WWE. Do you think WWE made a mistake by releasing Nia Jax?
