Brooke showed appreciation for Ronda Rousey

In 2017, Ronda Rousey was spotted attending the WWE’s Mae Young Classic event. This further fuelled speculation of her signing with the sports entertainment giant.

TMZ cameras caught up with Brooke Hogan and Toombs asked whether the UFC Hall of Famer would join their new wrestling promotion.

Hogan said she had no idea if Rousey would work with them, but had an appreciation for her.

Talking to the cameras she said, “She’s (Ariel) been talking all night tag teaming with Ronda, I love her”.

When asked about her about getting Rousey in touch with her father Hulk Hogan for her pro wrestling training, Brooke replied, “I think my dad could be the only person who could take on Ronda Rousey because he’s that strong and she’s that strong so I would be terrified of getting in the ring with her”.

Toombs also chimed in saying, “I think that we will have fun, I love Ronda. I think she’s an icon of our time and I think it would be really fun for Brooke and I to tag team with her. If nothing else, I can be her cheerleader”.

Toombs, also believed that ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ would become a great pro wrestler. She said, “I think she’s already one of the greatest female fighters, I think she’s an icon. And I think she will be a brilliant wrestler”.

Rousey has been a hit in WWE

Toombs’ prediction proved to be right. Ever since setting foot in the WWE, Rousey has been dominating the scene. She has held both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship titles.
