During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel asked Rousey about the specifics of the armbar, her signature move. Ronda Rousey and her tryst with the armbar
‘Rowdy’ Rousey shared the details about the time she experienced the brutal pain of the armbar, saying, “I was like 18 years old and I was at the German World Cup and I was winning. There was like 40 seconds left, I was fighting this Finnish chick and I threw her. I left my arm out and before I even know what happened, she just dislocated my elbow.”

Rousey’s endurance is awe-inspiring
Rousey was clearly proud of her rough-and-tough nature as she detailed the bout to Kimmel and his audience. “So now I’m like ‘Well, she already popped it out twice. I can’t just let her pop it out twice for no reason!’ So then I finally got out. In judo you can’t ask for the medics on the mat, you get disqualified. So, I had to pop it back in myself. And then I had like 20 seconds left and I won the fight,” said Rousey to a deafening applause.
