The Real American, Hulk Hogan, was a driving force behind WWE’s success in the 1980s and early 1990s. His popularity and charismatic ability helped him rise on the chart of success and eventually made him the face of the company until he left WWE for WCW. During his tenure in WWE, Hogan was involved in various feuds as well as controversies.
Hulk Hogan has always been at the center of controversies ever since the beginning of his career. Some even led to jeopardizing situations for his career.

Once, Hogan even revealed that he was offered a spot by MMA giants, UFC, during their initial days. Hogan took the sporting world by storm when he announced he was asked to join the UFC in 1993.
Hulk Hogan once revealed to Herald Sun, in Melbourne, that he was offered a spot in UFC, but he turned it down because of its violent nature. However, Campbell McLaren, co-owner of UFC, had a contrasting opinion.
McLaren stated on Twitter that he never wanted Hogan in his company and that no one had asked him. He also tagged the legendary commentator of UFC, Joe Rogan. on the tweet.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan responded by saying that, if one has to dispute a comment made by a flamboyant pro wrestler, then they have already lost.

McLaren had earlier clarified that they had never approached Hogan for the UFC, and it was bulls**t what he was speaking. He also clarified that he never talked with Hogan regarding this.

Hulk Hogan left WWE in 1993 and made his presence known in WCW in 1994, where he reached new heights of success with nWo, and turned heel for the first time. It was a shocking turn, but it helped him achieve new accomplishments.

A few years ago, Hulk Hogan took to social media to upload an image of himself with a 39-year-old professional bodybuilder. He posted a few images and joked about it.

Hogan posed beside “the world’s scariest man,” Martyn Ford. They were captured having a good time. The picture was from 2017, and while Hogan was 64. Ford was still in his mid-30s. However, even the older Hogan looked equally muscular and gave a tough competition to Ford’s physique.
