Some years ago, Dwayne Johnson narrated the incident while filming for Skyscraper. He wrote, “The glaze you see over my eyes as I’m about to pass out is real. As is how deep this rear naked choke is sunk in by @UFC veteran turned actor/stuntman @jasonwilliamday”
For one particular scene, the former UFC fighter Jason Day had to put Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a rear naked chokehold. However, Johnson shared all the scenes he filmed with Day had real expressions.

Further, Johnson, in his elongated caption, recalled the authentic expressions during the choke were good for the shot. So, the lead actor asked director Rawson Thurber to film one more shot in which Jason would hold the choke much longer. Moreover, the former UFC fighter checked up on Johnson after every take to see if he was doing well.
After the last shot was done, Johnson got up and slowly came to his senses. Apparently, these are the ends where the former WWE star is willing to go to film a perfect scene.

However, both the stars hugged each other after the shot. Moreover, The Rock stated Jason as, “a real class act and bad a**.” Also, Johnson was glad to have his hands dirty with a former UFC fighter.
