Brock Lesnar has always been an intimidating character. Ever since his debut, he has maintained his gimmick of being a dominant force. Lesnar’s frightening and muscular physique character was one major reason for the audience to accept his push.

The Beast incarnate made his debut in WWE in 2002 and stayed till 2004. He then moved onto NJPW, post which he made a career switch toward MMA and UFC. Lesnar had a successful MMA career but left it in 2012 to return to WWE. He remained a part-time performer in WWE while also making a short return to UFC in 2016. During his return, Lesnar faced off against Mark Hunt and won, but the decision was later overturned because Lesnar tested positive for banned drugs.

Back in 2015, actor Skylar Astin had appeared on “The Fighter and The Kid” podcast with UFC fighter Brendan Schaub and actor Bryan Callen. It was here that he revealed a scary incident involving Brock Lesnar during his UFC days.

Astin reveals that, in February that year, he and his brother attended UFC 184. At the event several prominent personalities such as, Ronda Rousey, Cat Zingano and Brock Lesnar were present. It was at this event that, Astin had approached Lesnar with his brother. He said his brother went up to Lesnar and said, “Dude, you gotta come back [to WWE], man. You gotta come back.”

Lesnar did not take the comment lightly and chided back, “Sit the f*** down. You don’t know s–t. What the f***”. Lesnar was visibly extremely furious while his brother’s girlfriend started crying. Fighters TJ Dillashaw and Urijah Faber were also present. Dillashaw responded by, “Dude, he’s going to push your s***, man. You’re f***ed.”

According to Astin, Lesnar might have been playing his heel character and tried getting heat from the fans, but on the flip side he said he also sympathised with Lesnar because of the fans regularly being indecisive of whether they want him in UFC or WWE.

Brock Lesnar confirmed to return to WWE in 2023

Brock Lesnar has always been a ticket-selling machine for WWE. One of the top drawing superstars in WWE, Lesnar has always been a part-timer since his return almost a decade ago. Even after being so, he has various accolades to his name.

The latest reports suggest Lesnar will return in 2023. WWE has advertised him for two premium events in the coming year. Brock Lesnar is the only superstar to feature in the poster of the live event, Day 1. They also featured Lesnar for WrestleMania 39, which is said to take place in April 2023.
