In the past few years, many UFC stars have interacted with WWE in one way or  another. Names like Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey, are synonymous with both the promotions. Further, we also saw Israel Adesanya pay a tribute to the WWE legend, The Undertaker, at UFC 276.

Recently, a UFC icon appeared alongside WWE’s Triple H, and current co-CEO of the company, Stephanie McMahon.

Nate Diaz, the charismatic UFC fighter, posed for a photograph with the iconic WWE couple during an event in Las Vegas.

Fans react to Diaz posing with Triple H

Diaz, recently attended the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez, and Gennady Golovkin, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The event was also attended by WWE’s new Head of Creative, Paul Levesque aka Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon.

After the photograph of Diaz with WWE legends surfaced on internet, fans began sharing their excitement at a union between them.

As a result of this, fans let their speculation run wild as they predicted a WWE run for Nate Diaz.

Fans wanted a cameo on WWE TV from the former Ultimate Fighter winner.

Some however, wanted him in a big money match in WWE.

Some fans compared Diaz to a WWE legend.

While another had an idea about his entrance theme.

One fan even suggested an interesting role for the UFC legend.

Many fans however were skeptical of his presence on the PG rated WWE.

Nate Diaz to WWE may not even be a farfetched idea. The Stockton native recently left UFC after his win over Tony Ferguson in UFC 279.

At 37 years, the time maybe right for Diaz to swap the octagon for the squared circle. Indeed, we can expect the WWE to pay him a hefty amount to make appearances for the sports entertainment giant.

Diaz’s UFC career

After winning the Ultimate Fighter 5 competition in 2007, Diaz went on to fight for UFC for over 15 years. During this time, he remained a top five ranked lightweight fighter. Moreover, he also challenged for the lightweight championship.

He rose to popularity following a submission win over Conor McGregor in 2016 at UFC 196. He left the promotion after his last match against Tony Ferguson. His UFC record stands at 22-13-0.
