Dwayne Johnson is the man who doesn’t need any particular reason to be in the headlines for whatever he does. He simply ends up garnering all the limelight for every now and then. Meanwhile, he is in headlines in the UFC realm for his sportswear company, Under Armour, as UFC stars including Nate Diaz, and Terrence McKinney, have openly criticized his shoes. And now another UFC heavyweight has criticized his shoes.

For those who don’t know, a multi-year sponsorship agreement between The Project Rock and UFC was first announced earlier this year. The deal includes all UFC competitors, male and female, who are required to wear the shoes during the events. Meanwhile, Chris Daukaus has denounced the shoes after numerous UFC stars openly criticized the brand.

On The All-Star’s UFC Vegas 60 recap show, the UFC heavyweight made an appearance to talk about the UFC’s partnership with The Rock’s brand. The Philadelphian, blasted the UFC shoe collaboration in the same way Diaz did. He stated, “I’m not a sneaker guy. These sneakers f******* suck. They really do suck. They’re uncomfortable, super tight, big like they f******* suck. Talk sh*t about the Reebok deal, the quality of a shoe with Reebok, is way better in my opinion. I’m just not a fan of Under Armour shoes.”

He added, “Like even in high school like playing football if you give me like a Nike shoe or a Rebook shoes or a normal shoe. The Under Armour shoes was the last f******* shoes I’ll pick. Because they just suck. Sorry Rock. You can find me, I’m in Philadelphia. Come if you wanna say something, your shoes f****** suck.”

After Nate Diaz’s remarks, a number of celebrities spoke about The Rock’s shoes, thus it appears that they surely have become a new hot subject in the UFC.

Prior to his final scheduled fight, Nate Diaz gave an interview to ESPN. While talking to Megan Olivi, shared his views on The Rock’s Under Armour sportswear brand. During the interview, he unexpectedly lifted his leg, pointed to the shoes, and said, “These shoes f***ing s**k. Look at these shoes they made me put this sh*t on.”

The UFC stars’ open confessions about it may be due to the non-sharing of sponsorship earnings with athletes and thus it is being a hot topic on social media. However, till now Dwayne Johnson hasn’t addressed this issue.
