Extreme Rules 2022 is going to be one kind of an event, with Triple H leading this time. The match card is already stacked up with some of the best matches. With Bianca Belair going against Bayley, Liv Morgan against Ronda Rousey, Edge vs Finn Balor, and also Seth Rollins going against Matt Riddle.

Seth Rollins would face Matt Riddle in a fighting pit. The last time they faced each other, Riddle was unsuccessful in the match. However, this time the two of them would face each other, with UFC’s Daniel Cormier officiating it.

It was announced recently, UFC legend Daniel Cormier would step inside the fight pit to officiate the match between Riddle and Seth Rollins. Cormier is a UFC Hall of Famer, with a total MMA fight record of 22-3-1.

During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Cormier interrupted Riddle and Rollins’ promo to announce the news. And as soon as Ariel Helwani broke the news, UFC, WWE, and, TNA legend Ken Shamrock, reacted to it.

He took to Twitter to share his excitement around it, and also how he was hopeful for a future for Daniel Cormier in WWE.

He said, “It can’t be any old referee. So you know who they called? They called your boy DC to come down and lay down the law, and make sure that only one of you walk out of the Fight Pit victorious.” He then asked the fighters to train hard before their fight.

Shamrock is an MMA and UFC legend and was one of UFC’s initial fighters. His legacy paved the way for UFC’s future and turned it into what it is today. An Impact Hall of Famer, he is a true combat sports legend.

Is WWE looking toward a Daniel Cormier vs Brock Lesnar fight in the future?

Daniel Cormier has always been a WWE fan, and appearing in WWE while officiating a match is a dream come true for him. This week on Monday Night RAW, he appeared and explained the rules to both the fighters. Riddle is a former UFC fighter, while Rollins has always been a pro-wrestler.

Also, as per Dave Meltzer of ‘Wrestling Observer Radio’Brock Lesnar has been suggested as a future opponent for Cormier, and the two might clash against each other at WrestleMania. Thus, viewers might have to wait and watch.
