Brock Lesnar is one of a kind sports person who thrived in multiple industries. He is the only fighter and wrestler who has won World Championships in both, WWE and the UFC. His dominance over the two companies is what made him an instant pop culture symbol. His nickname in WWE, ‘The Beast Incarnate’, is not just a nickname, it is literally his entire identity.

But that might have not ended up happening if Lesnar would’ve shifted to MMA immediately after completing college instead of WWE. His persona of being the Beast that none could take down was something that Vince McMahon built. But in the UFC where everything is real and results aren’t governed by anything, Lesnar would’ve perished easily. But popular commentator, Joe Rogan, has different views regarding Lesnar.
Joe Rogan talks about how Brock Lesnar could have been a GOAT in UFC
During the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the host talked about Brock Lesnar being a great MMA fighter. He said, “I kinda like Brock Lesnar, man. I swear if Brock Lesnar got into mixed martial arts right out of college. Went college wrestler right into training, really learned striking and learned slowly and took on small fights.”

He continued to justify that Lesnar could have been an amazing UFC fighter saying, “But really learned striking instead of all that time doing WWE, which I’m sure he made a f**kload of money. Good for him, that’s all great and everything like that. But man, I really think he could have been one of the all-time greats. I really do.”
If you see the clips from his UFC days, you can clearly see the happiness Lesnar got from being in the company. Keeping money aside, fighting people at their best, and sparking a contest of skill and endurance felt like Lesnar’s thing. And it was very visible on the screen that Lesnar enjoyed it. Not only that, but in the UFC, he spoke frankly.
