Dwayne Johnson is one of the most popular figures in the entertainment business. Johnson’s charisma and enigma have taken him to new heights. A failed football career gave rise to new opportunities for him and turned him into The Rock.

After an extremely successful wrestling career, he again switched and turned into an actor. As an actor, Johnson underwent a massive transformation. The 50-year-old currently has one of the best physiques in the industry.

Recently, after The Liver King controversy, Johnson fell under a lot of suspicion for using steroids. However, back in 2009, Johnson himself demanded harsher punishment for athletes found using steroids. In 2009, Johnson admitted to using the drug but also wanted strict punishment for people found using it.

He stated that he himself had tried it with his friends back during his teenage years. Johnson further stated that it was not much prevalent in sports nowadays as it was back in those days. He claimed that a culture had been created.

  The 50-year-old wrestler-turned-actor claimed that back then a culture had been created where doing it was okay. And the ones who did not do it, were turned the other cheek. He claimed that a lot of team managers, players and owners did not do it, but were left in the corner.

However, The Brahma Bull of WWE also stated that there need to be strong penalties for using roids. He stated, “We recognize that, and now we have to institute stronger penalties, which we are doing.”

Johnson is currently rumored to return at Royal Rumble, or WrestleMania 39, to face The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. Although, it is not confirmed, fans can now only hope for the best.

Dwayne Johnson was accused of using steroids by Joe Rogan

After The Liver King came out publicly for using steroids, a lot of celebrities fell under suspicion. Especially The Rock, who currently has one of the best physiques in the entire industry, a physique better than during his prime time.

Former UFC Commentator, Joe Rogan on his podcast, accused Johnson of using roids, and asked him to come clean. Rogan stated that being a public figure, Johnson had a responsibility towards his fans.

He said, “ there’s a responsibility that you have to people that are listening to you.” Rogan wanted Dwayne Johnson to be honest with his fans.
