In addition to earning millions of dollars and achieving global notoriety, Brock Lesnar also met Sable, one of the most prominent female WWE superstars, while working for the company. The Next Big Thing joined the organization after becoming popular in Ohio Wrestling, and in an instant, he rose to the position of superstar. He got friendly with Sable during his initial tenure, and the two eventually developed a close bond. Later, they got married, and they’re now living a beautiful, private life.

Additionally, considering they lead such a secluded life, there aren’t many stories about them in the mainstream. But there is one anecdote that The Beast Incarnate once made famous—a story of the time his wife Sable literally saved his life.
How did Sable save the life of Brock Lesnar?
After dominating the pro wrestling business, Lesnar transitioned to MMA, where he utterly dominated the UFC cage. However, following UFC 100, where Lesnar got vengeance against Frank Mir, he experienced several health issues as he suffered from an intestinal infection that may have ended his career.
Lesnar was therefore checked into a medical center. He encountered several difficulties there, unfortunately, since the essential machine was broken and there weren’t sufficient services available. Talking about the troubles in 2010 to the media, he stated, “The hospital I was at, it wasn’t their fault. They had some machinery that wasn’t working, that couldn’t do its job. And I needed to have it done. And so we went where we could have it done. I wasn’t at the right facility.”
And he explained that night that he disobeyed doctors’ commands and left the hospital, claimed that the decision was beneficial, and credited his survival to his wife and former WWE star Sable.

In his words, “I knew that I had to get out of there. My wife saved my life. She got me out of there and drove 100 miles an hour to get me down to Bismarck, North Dakota, to Med Center One. I was in excruciating pain. That’s when I made the phone call to [UFC President Dana White] cussing him out and telling him to send a jet for me. [H/T: Star tribune]”
The Beast Incarnate thanked his wife and doctor for saving his life
After realizing that they urgently needed better medical treatment, Sable got Lesnar off from the institution and drove him over 4 hours to a hospital in Bismarck, North Dakota.

Clearly, Lesnar was grateful to Sable and Dr. Brent Bruderer for saving his life, which undoubtedly aided in his full recovery. Then he started to rule the business once more.
