One of the greatest WWE legends to wrestle, she was the first woman to win a Men’s Singles title in WWE. Her stature and charisma threatened male wrestlers and made inter-gender wrestling believable on TV. But one UFC legend outright denied working with the late great Women’s Champion.

UFC legend reveals his real reason for not working with WWE legend

In a recent interview with Steve Fall’s Ten Count, Ken Shamrock, former WWE/UFC star revealed a lot of things. Prime among them was his reasons for leaving WWE.

One of the reasons he gave was, “They had some other things they wanted me to do like wrestle with Chyna, which is something that I told them because my kids were five, seven, and nine or something like that at the time, and I had always told them, you don’t hit girls. You know, it was just a thing, right? They would go into school and these kids believed wrestling was real.

So then they wanted me to go in there and fight Chyna. I was like, ‘I can’t do that’, and they’re like, ‘Well, why not?’ I’m like, ‘Because I’ve been preaching to my children that you don’t hit women.’ Well, but this is just entertainment.’ It’s like, ‘But they don’t know that’, right? So there was that happened. So I didn’t want to do that, but we worked around it.

During the Attitude Era, while The Rock and Steve Austin were among the top stars, there were many stars who popped up and showed their uniqueness. Prime among these stars was Ken Shamrock. While he was a prototype for what Lesnar is right now, he had excellent matches with Johnson and Triple H.
