Ronda Rousey is known for her incredible fighting skills. Besides, Rousey has been in the news many times for speaking her mind about things, and she never stepped back from confronting critics.

The former WWE champion had faced a lot of sexist comments in her career. During the 2013 World Tour, in New York, a fan asked Ronda Rousey how often she has s*x before her fights. Rousey was in the middle of the crowd signing autographs for her fans. But the comment was highly inappropriate, so The Rowdy One called out the person to give him a savage reply.

“Who said that?” said Ronda Rousey, staring at the crowd from where the voice came. “It’s not an appropriate question to ask. If your mother was standing behind you and heard you ask that question, what would she say to you?” And the crowd started hooting in favor of Rousey for calling out the person in the group and making sure to teach them a lesson.

Surely that person would remember this incident for a lifetime. But this wasn’t the only time Ronda Rousey had confronted someone for their comments.

Ronda Rousey responded to a reporter on the gender pay gap issue

During her UFC days, Ronda Rousey was once asked a question about the pay gap between genders in sports. Rousey was the highest-paid fighter in the UFC then, and a reporter asked whether she found the gender pay gap in other sports frustrating. It was with reference to the huge difference in payment between men and women in various sports, especially soccer.

Ronda Rousey had a clear answer to the question. “I think that, how much you get paid should have something to do with how much money you bring in. I’m the highest-paid fighter, not because Dana and Lorenzo wanted to do something nice for the ladies. They do it because I bring in the highest numbers. They do it because I make them the most money and I think that the money that they make should be proportionate to the money that they bring in.”

Ronda Rousey stated that regardless of gender, the person who brings more money to the sports should get paid more. Rousey had always been direct with her statement, whether in public or in WWE.
