Ronda Rousey is one tough cookie – she is known by fans all over for her determination and endurance. Rousey has been through it all and has always come out on top. The former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion even showed off the results of her hard work, and how proud she was of her accomplishments.

“Rowdy” Rousey took to Instagram to show off her hands, which were battered and bruised from years of MMA, wrestling, and no doubt, countless hours in the gym keeping in top shape. Rousey shared the picture to her 15.8 million followers and talked about how she would rather have her grit and determination than go with the social convention and have ‘pretty hands.’
What did Ronda Rousey say in her post?
The ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ talked about her stitches and scars in the post’s caption, saying, “I don’t have pretty hands and I’m proud of it. My hands tell my story because they’re not for show, they’re for doing things.” Rousey is not lying either. She has achieved things few people can claim to have achieved: she is an Olympic medal winner, a 4th degree black belt in judoka, and one of the most iconic MMA Fighters and WWE Divas in the history of both sports.
Rousey added, “I’m much more proud of a nine-stitch scar across my knuckle that I got from bursting a ganglion cyst on somebody’s head, than I would be of perfectly flawless acrylic nails. I have scars on every single part of my hands, for different reason and it’s almost like a scrapbook, like I’m proud of them. Like a tally of all my hard work and accomplishments.”

What’s next for Ronda Rousey?
Rousey has been having a string of bad luck in the ring lately; Not only did she get fined an exorbitant amount and “indefinitely” suspended from the WWE following her actions at SummerSlam this year, but she was also detained by security for crashing SmackDown. However, fans are more than excited to see what the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ will do next, as this marks her heel turn, and things have been interesting so far.
