Brock Lesnar has done his fair share of making some individuals jealous of him by his success. The former UFC fighter brought fame and crowd to himself since he debuted in UFC. But soon, in 2009, The Beast fell very sick due to an intestine infection. Diverticulitis, aka the rupture in Lesnar’s intestine, became a big problem for him.

The Beast was tamed and hospitalized for a while. In an interview with GQ, Dana White explained how the haters of Lesnar would react to Brock’s injury. “All the people who hated Brock, who didn’t think he belonged here, all had the chance to sit around and go, ‘Wow, imagine if Brock Lesnar never fights again,’ ”
White directly targeted the haters of Lesnar. It would surely be beneficial for his opponents at that time if he never fought again. Fortunately, Brock Lesnar’s rupture healed by itself, and he got back to the UFC. On the fourth of July main event, Brock Lesnar beat Shane Carwin via submission.

Dana White has always been a big supporter of his fighters. White can often be seen defending his fighters from the criticism of the media. Maybe that’s the reason he didn’t take action against Lesnar reacted rather belligerently when he was hospitalized. Dana knew Lesnar wasn’t in the right mental state at that time.

Dana White also explained the reality of the situation when a fighter gets injured. “As a human being, you think, ‘I hope this guy is okay.’ But as a fight fan, you’re like, ‘Ah, we’re getting robbed.” White has always been a pretty straightforward guy when it comes to talking business. He is considered one of the best promoters in the world as he increased his company’s worth to 4 billion dollars.
