The ‘Best in the World’ CM Punk is finally back in the game after a hiatus. He made his return to AEW last week on its brand new show Collison and wrestled again on this week’s episode. And just with his in-ring return, the former AEW champion started to give the fans a glimpse of his iconic ‘heel’ persona.

Two years ago, the AEW star started an off-court feud with the WWE legend Hulk Hogan by calling him a “piece of sh*t” on a podcast. And now after that, Punk reignited this rivalry by mocking Hogan in the middle of his match in AEW.

He imitated Hogan in the middle of the ring. Punk first delivered Hulk Hogan’s iconic big boot and then taunted his opponent in Hall of Famer’s style. He even concluded the entire mocking segment with a Leg Drop, confirming his intentions.

While some fans and critics are happy to see CM Punk’s fan-favorite heel mode outside the ring, some are not thrilled to see his disrespectful behavior towards the WWE legend.

If we talk about Punk’s current status then the fans will see him competing against Satoshi Kojima within a few hours at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Both stars will fight to proceed in the Men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament.
