WWE had already established Roman Reigns as the Top Guy of the company. Although the fans initially did not appreciate Reigns as much, he is now their beloved “Tribal Chief.”
One of the most interesting things about Reigns and his meteoric rise to the top is how he barely lost his WrestleMania matches. We will now look at the only tw0 matches he has lost.

In the highly anticipated main event of the event, Lesnar defended his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Reigns. In Royal Rumble 2015, Lesnar defended the belt against John Cena and Seth Rollins (the Money in the Bank winner). Reigns also earned his title shot against Lesnar following his Rumble win. The WrestleMania match itself was a bloody affair.
Lesnar dominated Reigns throughout the beginning until the latter shoved him to the ring post, causing him to bleed. While the men were down, Rollins ran down to the ring and cashed in his contract.
Although Lesnar was the first target, Rollins finally won the title after a curb stomp to his former SHIELD brother. Following the win, Rollins ran back to the ramp and celebrated his victory and one of the most iconic WrestleMania moments.
Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 34)
After their initial match at WrestleMania 31, the duo of Lesnar and Reigns had a “rematch” three years later. It was a title match this time as well. This was the first main event to have the new Universal Title on the line.
During their feud leading to the match, Reigns got arrested during a tussle. He previously criticized Lesnar for not appearing to confront Reigns on RAW multiple times. Later, Paul Heyman (Lesnar’s advocate) revealed they would both not re-sign with WWE if they lost.

In the match, Reigns and Lesnar both fought in a match reminiscent of their WrestleMania 31 match. This time Reigns bled after Lesnar removed his gloves and strikes with the elbow.
Ultimately, Lesnar won the match following a sixth F-5. He retained the title and eventually re-signed with WWE. The match is also notable for having a crowd that booed the main eventers and called it “boring” as a testament to Reigns’ over-the-top push.
