The match featured Gunther, who emerged victorious and secured the record to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion. Rhodes mentioned, “If you get a standing ovation in Gorilla, you’ve made it.”

He further went on and said, “Last night, Chad Gable and GUNTHER had this amazing main event, and they came back and there’s nothing we can do but clap for that piece of business”, implying that the other stars couldn’t help but appreciate the performance.

He also praised Chad Gable’s performance in the match, saying, “Chad did amazing last night.” Rhodes expressed hope that Gable would eventually win the Intercontinental Championship, especially since his daughter wanted to witness that special moment. He described Gable as an “amazing athlete.”
