The majority of Brock Lesnar‘s fans are living in uncertainty about how long the wrestler is in the game. Several factors, including Lesnar’s words, signal his potential leave from wrestling if not just WWE. So, if we look at the storylines he has been involved in lately, they might also make a connection to when the wrestler is going to retire.

But could WWE be planning to bring out an old Brock Lesnar rival to end his career run? While The Beast Incarnate has had many rivals in the past, he doesn’t have many incomplete feuds. However, when we look at his past with Bobby Lashley, we see a potential feud that could ultimately close off Lesnar’s run in WWE.

The feud between Lesnar and Bobby Lashley started at Royal Rumble 2022. Lashley had challenged Lesnar wrestler for his championship title. Being the brute that he is, Lesnar eventually gained the upper hand in the match. However, Roman Reigns‘ interference cut short the possibility of his title defense. Reigns helped Lashley ultimately pin Lesnar and win the title.

Lesnar took his revenge months later in the same year at WWE Crown Jewel upon defeating Lashley. WWE planned to settle the 1-1 score between the duo by placing them inside the ring at Elimination Chamber 2023. However, the plan did not work out fairly as Lesnar was disqualified. While it would still account for a victory for Lashley, the conclusion after the buildup didn’t satisfy many fans.

Because of this reason, we can speculate that Lesnar’s last possible match at WWE could be against his old foe at WrestleMania 40.

First insider reports suggested that Lesnar won’t be leaving WWE immediately but is on a break Then, his last opponent, Cody Rhodes, shared a sneak peek at the WrestleMania 40 poster in which the 46-year-old was also shown. Since it is the only PLE of WWE right now which is the farthest in the future, we could say that it might be the end of Lesnar’s career run. But why just end it with Lashley?

Since the score is technically settled with Lashley on top, there’s not much room to disturb the already balanced-out score. However, because Lashley’s last victory over Brock Lesnar was ‘technical’, WWE might want to bring it back for fans’ sake. Moreover, The Beast has gone up against several prestigious wrestlers and concluded his feud against them.
