LA Knight is certainly gaining momentum heading into the Elimination Chamber PLE with his recent qualification for the Men’s Chamber match on Monday night RAW. However, he does not look like one of the favorites to win the six-man match. So naturally, speculation has mounted as to what WWE’s plans will be for him at WrestleMania 40.

As indicated by Sean Ross Sapp on the Fightful Select Q&A podcast, there were discussions about LA Knight facing Logan Paul for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 40. While this was the plan at one point, it’s unclear if it’s still standing for the event. But it sure sounds like a good idea, right? Well, here are two big reasons why the WWE should make the move.

Why the WWE should plan a feud between LA Knight and The Maverick?

Since leaving the character of Max Dupri behind at the end of 2021, LA Knight has seen a considerable increase in popularity within WWE. This has allowed him to establish himself as one of the key figures on SmackDown and even challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Universal Championship.

So there’s no doubt that LA Knight surely knows now how to handle all the mainstream attention by being a central figure in major storylines. And if one can grace the ring with the likes of Randy Orton and AJ Styles and go toe to toe with them, then the superstar surely is destined and all ready to be a title holder in the biggest promotion in the world.

If LA Knight faces Logan Paul at WrestleMania 40 and potentially wins the United States Championship, it would mark a major milestone for him, as it would be his first title in the main roster. It surely would spark a massive reaction from fans who have been rooting for him for the past few months.

Also, being a title holder means that you can run major storylines around you, and LA Knight seems ready for the opportunity now. And giving him the United States Championship first before he moves on to bigger ones like the Universal or Heavyweight Championship seems like the better and smarter way to go.
