Dwayne Johnson has been a key figure in the WWE since the beginning of the year. Although the Brahma Bull has not been seen since WrestleMania 40, it is assumed that he is affiliated with the promotion and the Bloodline storyline. As you are aware, Roman Reigns vs. Dwayne Johnson is a dream match that is in the works right now and is supposed to be built up throughout this narrative.

Fans have speculated that The Rock may make an appearance at the upcoming WWE PLE SummerSlam, but there are several reasons why this may not happen. Firstly Johnson is not free from his Hollywood Schedule but even if he is he cannot come back. Let’s look at the two main reasons why Dwayne Johnson may not be present at this year’s SummerSlam Premium Live Event.

As you are all aware, the current Bloodline is unstoppable, and strong reports of Roman Reigns returning to halt it are circulating across the world right now. Already, Reigns will make a major comeback at SummerSlam, so a guest appearance by Dwayne Johnson will not bring both of them the attention they deserve.

Not only that but when Roman Reigns returns, he must first deal with the current Head of the Table and self-claimed Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa. He’s been controlling the Bloodline mercilessly thus far, and someone needs to stop him. This is the reason why Roman Reigns can come back with a Bloodline faction of his own and then both factions can have a feud till Survivor Series to decide the real Bloodline. But what is the second reason?

Is Dwayne Johnson the mastermind behind Bloodline 2.0?

The plot for the Bloodline Civil War is expected to begin shortly, with Roman Reigns’ Bloodline facing off against Solo Sikoa’s. This would be a big showdown in which anything might happen, including Dwayne Johnson stepping out to declare that he is the true leader of Bloodline 2.0.

The Rock might have sent the other members of the Bloodline to assist Solo Sikoa in gaining all of the attention so that he could perform his dirty deed behind everyone’s backs since he also wants to become Tribal Chief. When he last came to WWE, Roman Reigns was seated at the head of The Table since he was holding the Undisputed WWE Championship, but he no longer has it, thus anybody may be the Tribal Chief. It is too soon for this thing to be getting revealed and hence more time is needed for the story to develop further.
