Charlotte Flair and Asuka challenged Iyo Sky to a match for the world title at Fastlane. But Sky managed to retain her championship after Bayley helped stablemate pin Asuka for a three count. Flair followed it up with a title shot at SmackDown after tricking Bayley into a conditional match. The condition was that Flair would get a single shot if Bayley lost her match, and that’s how she ended up with another title match.
However, it does not look too good for The Queen as two rivals may spoil the party for her. One of the rivals will be returning after a month of slumber while the other rival will make her highly anticipated face-off with Flair.

As Charlotte Flair gears up for her title match against reigning champion Iyo Sky, speculations are that the genius of the sky will retain her title. It will be Flair’s 3rd attempt to secure her 15th title. She has already faced Bianca Belair and then reigning champion Asuka for the title at SummerSlam. But it seems that she might fail again while new rivals may appear this Friday.
Bianca Belair is expected to return at this week’s SmackDown show after her 2-month break. Though she won her 2nd title at SummerSlam defeating Flair and Asuka, it was a short reign at just 1 minute 32 seconds.
Sky decided to cash in her MITB contract on an injured Belair, which she did successfully. Hence, it lays down a perfect platform for her to avenge her loss from SmackDown. However, the kayfabe storyline says that it was the attack from Damage CTRL, which led to the break for Belair.

Though the interference will cost Sky the match, it will also help her retain the championship due to the championship clause. But there is another potential threat to Flair’s Championship win.
Jade Cargill to cost Flair her 15th title
WWE teased a backstage segment between Jade Cargill and Queen Charlotte Flair on SmackDown on October 13th. Both superstars faced off as Triple H introduced the two powerhouses to each other. Cargill may make her impression on SmackDown by appearing on the ringside.

As WWE plans to position Cargill as a top baby face, she might not attack anyone in the match. But sitting near the commentator’s box may distract Flair for Sky to pick up a win.
