Two Days Before Black Adam’s “Rage” Fizzled at the Box Office, Dwayne Johnson Revealed His Counterpart That Has Kept the $800M Empire Rock Solid

Success is the benefit, passion is the investment. Former multi-time world champion and Hollywood’s most dependable good guy Dwayne The Rock Johnson has added extra value to the word ‘passion’. Dedication and motivation come later but his soaring success is primarily due to his passionate obsession with every project he took up so far including the hardest yet most sensitive project of fatherhood.

Any other celebrity or superstar might think of beating him in his game, but prior to that, they better be aware of the untamed fire within DJ’s soul that makes him jump out of bed every morning to kick-start a productive day and might make his competitors burn as well if necessary. That’s the fuel he possesses, that keeps the $800M actor vibing with life through every good and bad. The Rock himself seconded us in this belief during a recent interview.

DJ had numerous box office hits in his Hollywood list. But unfortunately, it was not the same with Black Adam. Apart from garnering rave reviews, the movie brought several other troubles in his career as well. But one thing that will still remain noteworthy is Johnson’s incredible portrayal of the titular anti-hero. DJ’s adaption of the character of Black Adam is utterly born out of rage.

The tale tells of the sacrifice of a son who transfers his own powers to his father, Black Adam, losing his life in the process. The tragedy made the protagonist even more violent and aggressive.

Giving reference to the wild rage of his character portrayed in the DC movie, Tracy Smith of CBS News asked DJ what is the one thing that fuels him the same way rage and violence did to Black Adam.

The actor didn’t even take a pause to answer. He promptly noted, ‘Black Adam is fueled by rage. I am fueled by passion. I run to everything I do, yeah, especially my daughters, so I would say that I feel my passion and tequila.’

Teremana Tequila, one of the most experimental business ventures of Johnson, recently saw massive success. It all started with the idea of bringing the best quality affordable liquor to the market. The execution involved high risk as the customers were pretty reluctant to replace their usual products.

Also, economic downfall also prevailed in the marketplace due to the pandemic back then. But DJ took the leap of faith and never regretted it. The sale graph of his spirit brand recently touched the one million case mark annually.

However, things aren’t going smoothly for DJ as of late with multiple setbacks, including the cancellation of Young Rock, a $60 million loss in XFL, and a few more hitting his mind space really badly. But The Rock has shown his ability to bounce back before. After all, he is backed up by his passion and is never short of his favorite energy booster, tequila.
