Sometimes an athlete’s career can end on an unexpected note. Such a thing happened with Madusa. The legendary female wrestler has taken up a few other professions but served a notable time in pro wrestling. However, Madusa, who also went by the name Alundra Blayze, had to leave wrestling altogether in 2001. This ultimately happened because of an injury she had undergone in the previous year. At WCW’s Fall Brawl 2000, Blayze competed in a tag team match. Her team lost the match. But the fans didn’t know that news about her injury was also coming.

This kept her off-screen for a year. Then, she retired from wrestling in 2001. However, she has returned to the ring for a few appearances since 2018. But now, after all these years, the former wrestler looks jacked-up and as good as any member of the WWE roster.

It has now been 23 years since Madusa endured the injury. Although the injury itself wasn’t threatening to an extreme level, it could be held responsible for ending Madusa’s career, eventually. After all these years, Madusa has not stopped building her physique. She recently put up a picture on her Twitter account in which she looks quite healthy and jacked up.

She also had a message for Trish Stratus in the same tweet to turn up the heat.

The former wrestler tweeted, “Rumor has it that [Trish Stratus] is claiming that she’s responsible for the evolution of women’s wrestling. Maybe she needs me to educate her?

She went after Stratus after she credited only herself for revolutionizing women’s wrestling, forgetting Madusa’s efforts. So, the former wrestler wants to humble Stratus for doing so.

Madusa isn’t the only former wrestler looking good beyond their years. Some of you would also recall yet another inspiring physique flex by a retired pro wrestler.

This time around, the situation had become life-threatening, yet the former wrestler did not give up on taking care of his body and came back stronger than ever.

As we had reported earlier, Diamond Dallas Page faced a life-threatening situation. In early 2015, during his Yoga sessions, DDP faced difficulty breathing.

When the former wrestler visited the doctor, he was diagnosed with ‘subglottic stenosis’. The doctor then immediately admitted DDP for extensive medical care. Although the condition is often treatable, the symptoms are likely to reappear.

Keeping his health problems aside, DDP still worked on his physique to keep himself fit. This year he uploaded a picture of himself on Twitter, looking jacked up, at the age of 67. This situation is very similar to Madusa’s, except that the former female wrestler is also hinting at her possible WWE appearance too.
