Roman Reigns‘ sabbatical is nearing an end and his return could occur pretty soon. The former WWE Universal Champion has not been seen since his major loss to Cody Rhodes. But the fans’ concern for Reigns is whether he will go after the mess the Bloodline is in right now and deal with Solo Sikoa first, or will he go after the Undisputed WWE Championship and defeat Cody Rhodes to reclaim the title he held for four years?

WWE veteran Jim Cornette recently discussed the subject. He suggested that the appropriate thing for Reigns to do at this time is to clear the mess that is now forming around The Bloodline. The underlying reason for this is that WWE now lacks babyfaces who are major superstars. The Tribal Chief’s return as a face could usher in a fresh breath of air in a WWE landscape dominated by heels.

Cornette believes that Roman Reigns should wait at least a year or two before pursuing the Undisputed WWE Championship. Because after this, he would have completed the Bloodline storyline and could be free to pursue anything he wanted. After this, a rematch with Cody Rhodes could appear as a fascinating prospect. A trilogy of WrestleMania encounters with Rhodes could round off the feud in perfect fashion.

Jim Cornette stated this on his YouTube channel, He said, “Well, his right now his value is as a baby face because the people want him back so bad and they’re setting up that these other people have usurped his throne. But you wouldn’t have him come back in an angle specifically to turn on Cody because then if he joined these other motherfu**ers, then you got like six of them.”

Nevertheless, for all this to transpire, The Tribal Chief has to make his return first and it could transpire sooner than you think.

Roman Reigns is expected to return shortly following Paul Heyman’s beatdown

As you may be aware, Bloodline just kicked out its Wise Man Paul Heyman as he refused to recognize Solo Sikoa as his new Tribal Chief. Because of this, the heat on Sikoa and the Bloodline is intense at the moment, which means that the thought of Roman Reigns returning to confront the faction he created for the sake of his Wise Man looks like the likely return path.

Rumors suggest that Reigns will return to the ring around SummerSlam. He would aim to reclaim his status as Tribal Chief and Head of the Table. Until then, fans will have to wait and see what else WWE has in store for them in this amazing storyline.
