WWE has never been in good relations with their competitors, whether it be WCW or TNA. But it looks like times are changing and once Vince McMahon-led WWE has now opened the doors for different collaborations with their competitors, Impact Wrestling and AEW. And the celebration of John Cena was just another example.
Just earlier this year, Mickie James made a surprise return at the Royal Rumble while being the Impact Knockout’s Champion. The announcers at the booth acknowledged the title, and she even brought the championship when making her entrance. Also, just this month, on the 20th Slammiversary, AJ Styles sent a heartfelt message to the company that made him into the star he is today.
