‘The Undertaker is one of the most significant characters in pro wrestling. Many WWE superstars looked up to The Undertaker as their role model. The influence of Mark Calaway, aka The Undertaker, is unmatched. Not only did Taker lead the locker room, dominated by men at the timez but many WWE female superstars also idolized him.

Speaking of which, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recollected one such gesture of The Phenom recently. Of course, Taker’s persona is very intimidating, but Mark Calaway is a true gentleman behind the scenes.

The Undertaker proved why he was the true locker room leader in WWE

Former WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus recently sat down with VIBE 105.5 FM to discuss wrestling-related topics. The co-host asked Trish Stratus how she felt about The Undertaker’s Hall of Fame speech. This was when the WWE Hall of Famer recalled The Undertaker’s kind gesture that made her emotional.

Trish said, “Back in the day when I was there, he’s [The Undertaker] always been a great supporter. He took the time to watch the women’s matches or slowly when we were creeping on to the radar,”

She continued, “He would be like, ‘Alright, you guys keep at that. That was really good’, or knowing that from us, we would do a match thinking like ‘How about instead of hair pulls, we’re going to do real wrestling moves?’, and maybe or maybe not it’ll be noticed we’ll see.”

As per Trish, the ‘Deadman’ took time from his busy schedule to watch women’s matches and also to give them valuable feedback. During that time, female superstars were portrayed far differently than today.

What did Trish Stratus feel about The Phenom’s Hall of Fame induction?

Not many male WWE superstars would walk up to the women and encourage them back in the day. However, Taker’s influence on the women’s locker room received attention from WWE.

Trish added, “But yeah, Taker was always supportive and was great about watching stuff and saying, ‘yeah, you guys keep at that; this is good stuff.’ And of course, his wife Michelle, we’re really close friends, and we worked together for years as well. So, having him have this moment, which was obviously so fitting. He’s been a staple for so long in WWE, and as a fan, he’s the guy,” 

The Phenom’s wife, Michelle McCool, and Trish Stratus shared a close bond. However, Taker’s respect for women was not only limited to his wife, Michelle McCool, but all the women in the WWE.

So, Trish Stratus left no stones unturned to praise the man who spent 30 glorious in the company. She was more than happy to watch The Undertaker take place among immortals in the WWE Hall of Fame.
