According to recent reports, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may return to the organization and feud with John Cena for his farewell match. The narrative for the past WrestleMania may be extended to include Cena costing Roman Reigns his championship versus Cody Rhodes.

Or maybe Triple H could reopen the gates of a classic feud between Randy Orton and John Cena. The duo have arguably been the protagonists of pro wrestling during their heyday and their chapter coming to a close could signal the end of an era. There’s enough weight and storytelling in their history to pave the way for one last altercation in the future. Only time will tell what Triple H and WWE have in store for John Cena’s future.
