Triple H's dig at Tony Khan—Is WWE really playing dirty or just good old competition?

During his stint as WWE’s head of creative, Triple H took several digs at AEW. There have been several incidents reported on live TV and social media. The Game appears to be sticking to his guns in this topic, as he continues to mock his arrival firm online, as evidenced by his current social media activity.

As you may be aware, AEW and Tony Khan have long accused WWE of interfering with their contracts. This means that while a contract was in effect, WWE may have willfully made modifications to it, which is entirely incorrect. Triple H never replied to these charges, therefore, this was never a major deal in the realm of professional wrestling. However, it appears that The Game liked a post that contained information on the allegations made against the Stanford-based company.

This was an Instagram post in which the statement of Tony Khan was written on it. The post revealed that Tony Khan stated, “I don’t think it has. It’s still happening. I will reserve all rights when comes to that, but I don’t think it has (stopped). I’ll leave it at that.” This was a major remark, given that Khan is now embroiled in a lot of controversy, and if this declaration is false, another controversy will emerge for him. Triple H liking the post also stated that he has claimed that WWE does not take this statement seriously and does not wish to discuss it further.

This troll by Triple H plainly demonstrates WWE’s current attitude against AEW and Tony Khan. But isn’t WWE wanting to sign an existing AEW superstar?

Will Tony Khan let one of his superstars abandon his contract to join Triple H?

Ricky Starks is a name that has recently received a lot of attention, and this is due to the fact that he has not appeared on screen in a very long time. Although the young sensation is still under contract with AEW, it appears that he may leave the firm shortly. Moreover, Triple H is now interested in signing him.

Triple H's dig at Tony Khan—Is WWE really playing dirty or just good old competition?

Have an interesting take?

The problem is that WWE needs to speak with AEW about the superstar, which will most likely not happen because of the heat. This suggests that Ricky Starks has a slim possibility of being signed by WWE, or that he must first resolve his position with AEW before making this step. Only time will tell what will happen with the young superstar in the future.
