Among the several elements that make WWE the biggest company in terms of sports entertainment, music has definitely played a vital role. Whether it be Randy Orton’s ‘Voices’ or CM Punk’s ‘Cult of Personality’, WWE is known for creating and licensing some amazing tunes.

One of the biggest contributors to their legacy in terms of music has been the iconic Canadian rock band Nickelback. The band has been associated with WWE since 2006, and recently Triple H took to social media to share a picture that has WWE fans drowning in nostalgia.

Formed in Hanna in 1995, Nickelback has been one of the most polarizing bands in the music industry. You either love them or hate them. But for the fans of the WWE, they are nothing short of iconic due to their constant presence throughout the 2000s and 2010s in the company.

And Triple H too would agree to the fact, as he recently took to X, sharing an iconic moment for fans where the band’s lead singer Chad Kroeger and the COO posed together for a photo. In a befitting caption, Triple H said, “Look at this photograph. #SmackDown @Nickelback,” referencing the opening line of the band’s 2005 hit song ‘Photograph’.

While many may be wondering what makes the band so iconic for WWE fans, here’s a short history of Nickelback’s involvement with the company.

A trip down memory lane with Nickelback nostalgia
