WWE’s COO, Triple H, is very optimistic that the two most popular wrestlers to have worked for the promotion, John Cena and The Rock, might get back into the squared circle when the time feels right.
WWE recently announced that they’d be returning to their home at Madison Square Garden in September and continue to tour for the rest of the calendar.

In a recent phone interview with New York Post, Triple H answered questions about how he thinks Cena and Dwayne have a special respect for sports and will always find time to do what they love.
“No matter how busy they are, I know that anytime there’s an opportunity where you would say to them, ‘Hey, you could enter the ring in WWE and do this,’ there’s a part of them that goes, ‘Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun,'” Hunter said.
Both the wrestlers are away from the squared circle for now since they have different projects on their hands. However, in the same interview, ‘Hunter’ gave a green flag that the fans could expect their return inside the squared circle in front of a sold-out crowd.
“We do it all for them, there’s no other real reason. You’re doing it for that reaction. So to have that back, you can’t even really put it into words.” HHH said how much they miss seeing fans.
John Cena announced his in-ring return
No other athlete in the sports entertainment industry gets as many polarizing reactions as John Cena. The 16x World Champion sent his fans into a frenzy after announcing that he’d be getting back into the ring soon.
This announcement came from Cena himself, when he was a guest at “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Notably, Cena was there to promote his latest Hollywood Blockbuster: F9 [Fast & Furious 9].

In another interview with Chris Van Vliet, Cena admitted that he’s been away from the ring way longer than he expected, but he clarified he will show up amidst all the rumours.
“The last time was not this WrestleMania but last WrestleMania. I can tell you this, I very much look forward to wearing jorts again, it’s been too long.” Cena told Vliet.
