The Heartbreak Kid and 2-Time Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is one of the biggest WWE Superstars. The WWE Universe knows Shawn Michaels for his colossal achievements in WWE history.

Currently, Shawn Michaels is managing NXT 2.0 on behalf of Triple H. The NXT brand is going through many changes for the last few months. In a recent interview, Shawn Michaels detailed the ongoing changes in the WWE. Moreover, he mentioned the impact of Triple H’s absence of NXT because of health problems.

The former WWE Champion manages the NXT brand where recent changes have taken place. The entire roster had a tremendous switch-up with fresh faces now on board. NXT’s Black and Gold era had ended and was replaced by 2.0.

During his conversation with Denise Salcedo, Michaels talked about how he looked up NXT’s brand in the absence of Triple H. He said, “I think we had probably three weeks. We didn’t have a whole lot of information and by the time we got the information, it was coming down to the last week. We went ahead and, uh, you know, applied everything that we could clearly.”

“It’s, so it’s fun. It’s a nervous excitement. You don’t really know what to expect but you know you’re looking at something that you don’t really- there’s no road map to doing it so you have to try to figure it out and I don’t know I still enjoy that kind of stuff again.” 

He mentioned how the new scenario of the NXT is primed to shape up. In September, the NXT brand got revamped into NXT 2.0. WWE introduced fresh faces to the brand, including Bron Breakker, one of the top players on the NXT brand.

Shawn Michaels gives an update on Triple H’s health

Shawn Michaels and Triple H together manage the NXT brand. However, Triple could not concentrate on the NXT brand because of his health issues going on. A few months back, Triple H suffered a cardiac-related event.

During his recent interview, he said that Triple H is doing well now. Recently, he had talks with him, and he is improving day by day with therapy and other medications.

Moreover, he added the NXT brand’s revamp would have gone smoother if Triple H was present. Precisely, Michaels was not aware of the fact that he will be the next person to deal with NXT. Although Triple H developed the NXT brand very well, Shawn Michaels did an excellent job handling the management.
