With the completion of the Royal Rumble 2023, the road to WrestleMania has begun. Everyone is talking about Cody Rhodes who stood tall among other 29 competitors and left the ring as a winner. After the pay-per-view, Cody Rhodes talked to the media about his victory and future plans in the post-show press conference.
Apart from talking about Roman Reigns, he also mentioned his historic match against Seth Rollins last year, and what took him to recover from a career-threatening injury.

But, on top of that, he also explained his past relations with Triple H and how they are proceeding now.
During the conference, The American Nightmare said, “Triple H has no reason to be a fan of mine. If you really think about it… I smashed the throne… I took a lot of shots, always light-hearted but I think he knew where it was coming from.”
The past dispute between Cody Rhodes and Triple H
Cody Rhodes and Triple H were in a dispute a few years back. This even made Cody leave WWE. The reason behind the dispute was ‘The Stardust’ gimmick. In 2014, Cody Rhodes used to compete under the ring name Stardust along with his brother Goldust (ring name). He even won the tag team championship that time. However, Cody was not happy with the gimmick. He wanted creatives to end the storyline. But it didn’t happen and Cody eventually left WWE.
“I talked to him in a gorilla position one time and I was really frustrated doing stardust…. and I went to walk out and he looked back at me and he said ‘hey rattle the cages’. And okay, that could have meant a lot of things. I took it really literally and went out and rattled them as much as I could.”
