WWE SmackDown star Drew Gulak expressed his appreciation for Triple H for his work as a creative director in 205 Live. Recently, while talking on the podcast Casual Conversations with Justin Dhillon and Mike Wexler, Gulak praised H’s ideas and orchestration in 205 Live.

However, WWE ceased the production of the show last month, and they are going with NXT Level Up. The former Cruiserweight champion also complimented CM Punk and Bryan Danielson for “pushing through barriers” and paving the path as independent wrestlers.

Triple H, The Creative Leader

During the interview, Drew Gulak talked about his experiences with Triple H as the creative director in 205 Live.

He said, “He (Triple H) has amazing ideas and is very good at orchestrating them in a way that are easy to understand,” said the ‘Gobbledy Gooker’. “It’s a living, breathing thing. Stuff gets thrown at it, it changes, it reacts, it grows, it takes weird turns sometimes. That’s really kind of the show it is. his ideas were great and a lot of fun to work with and try to make happen.”

Additionally, Gulak praised H for his vision of taking the concept of Cruiserweight Classic with a sports-oriented feel and developing it into a brand.

His vision was to take that Cruiserweight Classic concept where it was a sport-oriented feel and turn that into a brand. Most of that vision stuck. A lot of it go modified and changed and grew over time, which is what happens when you’re running a show that didn’t have a start or end date,” he added.

Drew Gulak further talked about how Triple H‘s ideas had a long-lasting impact on the show. He said that ideas don’t have a beginning or an end date, as they just keep on living, getting modified and growing over time, and that is normal for any show.

Drew Gulak On the WWE Experiences

Later, the 205 live star reflected on various WWE experiences he had during his tenure. WWE took another direction ending the 205 live and Cruiserweight a while ago. Gulak talked about his admiration towards Bryan Danielson and CM Punk for being the pioneers to establish a modern and freestyle of wrestling in WWE.

You know, it was a year or two later, and for everything that guys like CM Punk and Bryan Danielson did getting hired by WWE intentionally, being like these independent wrestlers kind of pushing through the barriers and breaking through the glass ceiling and making it,” said Gulak.
