WWE Superstar Botches Dive on NXT, Suffers Potential Injury

Botches are something that come hand in hand in professional wrestling. On the recent episode of NXT 2.0, Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne suffered a potential injury while delivering a suicide dive.

This week, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion, Io Shirai wrestled Persia Pirotta and Jacy Jayne in a Triple Threat Match.

Io Shirai fought impressively grabbing a victory. However, it wasn’t a great outing for Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne.

NXT Superstar Jacy Jayne botches Suicide Dive

The match was scheduled as a triple threat. As per the stipulation, the winner of the match got a chance to spin the “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal”  for the Triple Threat tag team title match at next week’s Halloween Havoc.

The triple threat match started by Io Shirai and Jacy Jayne taking on Persia. However, Persia Pirotta countered both Jayne and Shirai simultaneously. Later, Jayne got knocked out of the ring while Shirai continued her attack on the new NXT Superstar. Later, Io sent Persia to the outside as well. This is where things started to get messy. 

Just as Shira and Persia took shots at each other, Jayne tried to deliver a Suicide dive which went horribly wrong. She got caught between the ropes and landed right on her face. Later, the medical team checked on Jayne and took her backstage, leaving Shirai and Persia to complete the match.

After some good back and forth, the ‘Genius of the Sky’ got the last laugh after pinning Persia. Following the match, Io Shirai spun the wheel and a mind-blowing match was announced, the Scareway to Hell Ladder Match.’

Although we’re unsure of what they mean by ‘Scareway to Hell,’ one thing is certain that no one should miss out on this exciting match. As far as Jacy Jayne is concerned, we hope to see her back in the ring next week. Hopefully, she hasn’t suffered any major injuries.
